Borbor and the Magic Steam: Learning about Evaporation
Tap to open!
It was a warm summer day. Borbor and Titi were sweating a lot.
"It's so hot today!" said Titi. "Let's fill up the water bowl!"
They poured cool water in Borbor's bowl. But after a while, half the water was gone!
"Oh no!" said Titi. "Did Borbor drink it all?" Borbor barked, "No! I only took a sip!"
Just then, Titi noticed something. "Look at the sun!" Titi said. "It's so bright. Maybe that's the secret!"
"It's called evaporation!" Titi shouted, remembering a lesson from school. "Evaporation?" barked Borbor. "That's a big word!"
"It means water turns into invisible gas when it gets warm," Titi explained. Titi pointed to the bowl. "The sun heated the water. Tiny drops turned into vapor and floated into the air!"
Titi looked up at the bright sky. "So, that water isn't gone? It's just hiding in the sky?" "Exactly!" Borbor barked, wagging his tail.
"The vapor will soon turn back into raindrops, which form clouds," Titi explained. "Eventually, the rain will fall from the clouds," said Titi. "And then it will evaporate again!"
"So that's how the water cycle works!" Borbor barked happily.
